To get around the long wait in the oppressive heat, we would sometimes use Disney transportation to one of their resorts and the transfer to Disney Springs bus and walk back. The drivers were kind of hit or miss on how friendly and forthcoming they were about the route pickup/drop off information. Second, the shuttles to the parks only run once an hour, and will take you between 30-45 minutes after boarding to reach your destination because of the additional stops. Nothing worth complaining about really, but still kind of gross. First, is that the room definitely had a musty, weird smell and there was a concerning amount of hair that was not ours-on the shower walls, on the tub, and even tangled in the towels and on the bedsheets. It’s through Fabulous Buses that services several hotels in the area, and one of the drivers went above and beyond and took us and a couple of other guests back to the Holiday Inn even though it was on a slightly different route than he was taking. Staying here gives you early access to the Disney parks, and they have a complimentary shuttle to the parks for transportation. The pool is open late, until 11pm so it was great to visit after a hot day at Disney World. They have a nice pool with a beach like zero entry point that my toddler loved. The hotel was within walking distance to Disney Springs, and the staff were all very friendly, helpful, and polite.
